Try making rainbows with water on a bright day. Can you learn a mnemonic to remember the order of the colours? What scientists have talked about Theory of Light?Try pen chromatography ~ get some felt tips and strong kitchen towel or coffee filter paper, water at bottom of a glass and a peg. Using a black pen , make circle about size of 5p about 10 cm from bottom of your strip of paper. Dip the bottom of the paper ( not the circle ) into the water. Clip paper to top of glass. What happens as the water is absorbed by the paper and starts to move up to the ink in the circle ? What did you notice ? Are all pens the same ? Could you be a detective and find out if a certain pen wrote a note ?
